Get The Look : Textured Waves

Ensure your hair is clean, dry and tangle-free. For extra protection, apply a heat protection spray.

Section your hair into layers.
This way you can ensure stray pieces of hair don’t get in the way whilst you are styling.

Select a styling temperature that is suitable for your hair type. If you have fine, delicate or coloured hair, use the lower heat settings. If you have thick, use the higher heat settings.

Take a section of hair roughly 3-5cm wide. Clamp the straighteners close to the hair root. Turn the straighteners approximately 180 degrees. Your hair section should lay over the top of the straighteners.

Gently move the straightener from the hair root down towards the end of the section of hair you are styling. Make sure you glide the hair straighteners through until the end of the hair section for full coverage.

Work your way through the sections of hair until all your hair has enhanced texture. Leave your hair to set and cool for approximately 10-15 minutes before adjusting.
Use your hands to gently adjust your hair to create the desired look. To complete this look, simply set with hairspray.
